This course is intended for teachers in a K-12 environment.

This course is designed to help teachers and school leaders learn about a variety of web 2.0 tools that can be integrated in classrooms and educational environments.

Professional learners in this course will select a technology tool by subject or instructional tasks and learn about the tool in a self paced environment with coaching from DIS on in classroom technology integration.  Badges and professional growth points are available for all that submit an artifact to demonstrate the technology tools use in a classroom.  DIS collaborate with the teacher to implement best practices by reviewing the submitted artifact for classroom implementation.

The content of this course compiles material from a variety of websites including links to the technology tool's website or DIS created tutorials.

Each badge contains about 45 to 65 minutes worth of videos, reading and artifact creation.
